[Sapporo City] Participated in the “Nomura Advisory Business Forum in London”

On June 30, 2025, the Nomura Advisory Business Forum, hosted by Nomura Asset Management was held in London.

This forum was primarily aimed at London-based asset management companies, with the objective of introducing business opportunities and investor trends within Japan’s asset management market. Speakers included Hiroyasu Koike, President and Chief Executive Officer, Nomura Asset Management; Financial Services Agency of Japan; and GX Acceleration Agency. As one of the designated “Special Zones for Financial and Asset Management Businesses,” Sapporo City promoted the appeal of Sapporo’s business environment, the GX projects advancing in Hokkaido, and initiatives to attract financial investments, including tax incentives.

Over 40 attendees participated including fund managers. Feedback included comments such as, “My understanding of Japan’s asset management business has deepened,” and “I am interested in GX investment.”
