[Sapporo City] Participated in the “Singapore Fintech Festival 2025”

Sapporo City participated in the Singapore Fintech Festival 2025 (SFF 2025), held in Singapore from November 12 to 14, 2025, in order to conduct overseas promotional activities. The event was organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), GFTN, Constellar, and other partners. This marks our second consecutive year of participation.

SFF 2025 is a leading global event that attracts over 66,000 attendees from approximately 150 countries, including fintech and finance professionals. Sapporo City exhibited within the Japan Pavilion, alongside cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.

This year, in collaboration with the Sapporo Transnational Expansion and Partnership (STEP), we explained in person the specific processes and support system that Sapporo City provides for foreign companies. We received numerous inquiries from attendees regarding the status of Fintech company entry, the IT industry, and the semiconductor business.

Furthermore, we also participated in the newly organized “Japan Hours” within the Japan Pavilion, where exhibitors conducted pitches. Sapporo City provided promotions focused on its business environment and the latest updates on initiatives in Sapporo and Hokkaido.

At a side event held at the official residence of the Ambassador of Japan in Singapore, the four Japanese cities exhibiting in the Japan Pavilion held a panel discussion and startup companies conducted pitches. Through this, the unique characteristics and business activities of each city were successfully promoted to finance professionals from various regions, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
