Hokkaido University is pleased to announce the launch of the “Practical Program for Designing a GX Future Society (Foundations),” which will run from October to December 2025. This program is designed for business professionals, members of start-ups, aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers, and graduate students.
The program aims to cultivate professionals capable of demonstrating leadership in their fields by providing a comprehensive understanding of policies, systems, technology, finance, and practical actions related to Green Transformation (GX) and Nature Positive (NP).
Course Overview
- Course Title: Practical Program for Designing a GX Future Society (Foundations)
- Instructors: Hokkaido University faculty and guest speakers
- Period: October – December 2025 (A total of 8 sessions)
- Time: 18:15 – 19:45 (90 minutes) per session / Approximately once a week
- Format: In-person at Hokkaido University’s Sapporo Campus + Live online streaming (On-demand recordings will be available exclusively for participants)
- Objectives: To equip participants with practical perspectives and action plans that can be applied in their professional fields. This will be achieved through an interdisciplinary study of policy, systems, technology, finance, and implementation methods, integrating both GX and NP as core pillars.
