[December 16-17] Invitation to the Nikkei Forum “Global GX & Finance Conference Sapporo”

In June of this year, Sapporo City, along with Hokkaido, was designated as a “Financial and Asset Management Special Zone” and a “National Strategic Special Zone.” With these designations, Sapporo is advancing efforts to establish itself as “Japan’s renewable energy supply hub” and as an “Asian and global financial center” that attracts GX-related capital, talent, and information from around the world. This includes the concentration of GX industries and the strengthening of financial functions as two key pillars.

This December, for the first time, Sapporo City, Nikkei Inc., and TV Hokkaido Co., Ltd. will co-host a forum in Sapporo to discuss the future of Japan’s GX and finance. Domestic and international experts will come together to deliberate on GX-related challenges, collaborations with Europe, the United States, and Asia, and the future vision of Japan’s GX and finance from a global perspective.
